During his 23-year career as a real estate developer, investor and banker at some of the world’s most prestigious and successful firms, Morgan Parker has completed sixty-five projects in nine countries.
Morgan is currently Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Holding responsible for the creation of the US$20 billion city centre of Dubai, and a board member serving the government in the development of the Australia’s only greenfield CBD.
By relocating from Australia to Asia in 1996, Morgan gained a rare array of experiences and responsibilities as the region’s real estate industry evolved. Typically acting as principal, Morgan has developed, financed, asset managed and invested in every conceivable scenario including green-field, distressed re-positioning, urban renewal, entity-level M&A, non-performing loans, and portfolio acquisitions.
As a senior executive with Morgan Stanley, Macquarie, Lend Lease, US-REIT Taubman Centers, and Rockefeller-owned Rose Rock, Morgan has been involved in many iconic, multi-billion dollar deals encompassing retail, office, residential, hotel, industrial, tourism,and gaming. Plus five master planned cities in Indonesia, Korea, China, and currently in Australia and the UAE.
Morgan has a significant public profile having featured in over 300 media articles and 20 television segments, spoken at over 60 industry conferences and lectured at various universities.
